After his MSc. in applied physics and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering (Imperial College) Nico build up an extensive 16 year experience at Koninklijke DSM NV and Ciba Specialty Chemicals in several positions. His main driver was to develop materials that change our world to the good and bring humanity further.
Nico realised that for really implementing that wish, he needed another environment: he had to create his own approach. This resulted in the establishment of the RMC Group. Now more than a decade further in time the RMC Group is fully inspired by his vision to be there for the unlucky few: to find materials that help rare treatments for people and that enable researchers to make the next steps.
Michele is our Managing Director Bern.
He is an organic chemist with a strong knowledge and interest in life sciences. His experience and problem-solving capability in synthetic organic chemistry allowed him to guide a dynamic group of young researchers on complex and multifaceted chemical biology projects and to develop their innate investigator personality.
He has several years of experience in research, both in academic and industrial environments (international leading organizations). His formation took place in Switzerland (University of Basel) and Germany (Max Planck Institute of Molecular Physiology).
Ferry is our Managing Director Apeldoorn.
With over thirty years of experience in medical, food, and high tech working with high quality standards, Ferry led significant growth and innovation projects across multiple industries and applications.
His work history shows a.o. experience at a leading innovator and global partner in the design, development and contract manufacturing of microfluidics and MEMS products in glass, silicon, polymer or hybrid materials. There he gained extensive experience in ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001 and ISO 27001 and understanding GMP compliance.

Buchem BV (NL) was specialized in the synthesis of stable isotope labelled compounds, distribution of CIL stable isotope labelled products in the Benelux and the manufacturing of many different chemicals. It already was focused on health/medical, mainly research.
Research and Medical Chemicals Switzerland AG founded as mother company of the group, preparing for Swiss acquisitions.
Swant AG (CH), founded by prof. Marco Celio, was focused on calcium-binding antibodies, mainly used in neurosciences. Products were first developed to support his research, but quickly were used world-wide. It's developed into a top company in its segment.
ReseaChem (CH) offered a broad range of services in analytics and synthesis of stable isotope labelled or unlabelled compounds for R&D purposes, isolation of natural products or degradation products as well as structure elucidation of unknown products.
This integration was concerning the corporate strategy, the group MT, the corporate identity and the protection of logo’s.
